I was cleaning the office and found it in a stack of old games. It behaves quite nicely on XP (for a game released in 1995!), and I've discovered that it can be a wee bit addicting... three straight nights in a row of going to bed after 1AM... with the first somewhere around 3:30!
It offers a multi-player option that I never experimented with, but if there's someone else out there interested, I may give it a go...

Deadlock? Awesome game. I used to play it ages ago. It's a shame I never got a chance to try it multiplayer. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It seem to look a lot like Alpha Centauri, which is one of my favorite game.

I haven't played Alpha Centauri, so I don't know.... but I do know that it's addictive! Was another 3:30 AM night last night... won by having enough cities just a handful of turns before I would have wiped out the last remaining colonies.
I may actually have to put it away again, just to get some sleep. The rest of the house woke me up before 7:30...
