...what is it?

Feel free to post some good Darwin Awards stories or any member original. There have been stories of people having a heart attack or stroke while straining on the toilet.....I'd say that's a pretty messed up way to go.

I think my favourite was the Darwinian award a fewyears back to a guy that tried to pull out a pepsi can stuck in a dispensing machine. The machine toppled over and squished him because he pulled too hard

I liked the story of the guy who fell into the Can factory equiptment... yup... First they had to go to every major supermarket and confiscate the cans (a few had already been sold)then they had to lower all those little cans into the ground...

Actually, that is quite a common scenario. The straining releases blood clots that go on to damage the heart, lungs, or brain. I have sometimes found patints' bodies in the bathroom. And, let us not forget Elvis! The King himself died on the throne.
My own personal favorite, from the book You Can't Be Too Careful, was the man that was horsing around with his girlfriend at the top of a cliff, kissing her, then rolling away. She rolled back eventually to find him gone, looked over the edge of the cliff, and actually saw him still in the air, looking back at her, just before he hit the ground. Kapow!

LOL, thought you meant 'in game' ways of dying, (like getting my level 20 monk taken out by kobalds in BG2).

One of my favorites was the drunk Polish farmer that blew his head off with a shotgun to prove his manlyness.

Losing to a bard would be the worst.
