I don't know why he's such a popular character but yes... i cannot count the number of games with him in them... he even shows up in the future, in Phantasy Star Online, he is a sword collector/business man who'se guard-bot you help to find him. he is a very old man barley kept alive and you rescue him and his robot, then get to go on a date with her
