Server Queues...

On the UK servers there are two roleplaying realms - Earthern Ring and Argent Dawn.

I started wow and set it to connect. I had a quick shower and the queue when I came back was 125 people!

When will they open a new roleplaying realm? The amount of lag on ER, as well as the queue times is unbelievable, and I assume AD is the same.

Anyone heard anything about new realms? I know RP/PVP was coming "soon" but it that was the start of August when we first heard it.

Hmm, I have only ever been in a queue to enter Argent Dawn once, so unless its the time difference (which I doubt because I join at all different times) I don't know what it is...

Do you Aussie's play on your own servers, or Europe, or USA?

RP/PVP will give us less players, but I'm not sure if that is a good thing. Less lag perhaps but less roleplayers (which are a rare thing on ER unless you know where to look).

Our own? Fraid' not.
I highly doubt Australia will ever have it's own server for WoW

Most of us play on whatever seems good, though it seems that more of us play on European servers.

Hmm, these new servers look interesting, a dn it would be fun to start a new character and see how fast people get to the high levels, but even with my crappy dial-up connection, I would prefer lag over less players.

Well a lot of "not hardcore" PVP-ers are joining, with no intention to RP.

Should make it fun, already some people "dislike" Lost Chapter (None Roleplaying MC/Onyxia/Other raid guild) so that should be fun to watch.

I wish they would open a brand new RP server with character transfer, just 'cause the queues are so big.

I don't mind PvP'ing on Argent Dawn, but I do wish there was more RP'ing going on

EDIT: Apparently Blizzard will be introducing the ability to transfer characters to other servers for a small fee, but I don't know if it's true or not.

The PVPing is alright, and my guild are good roleplayers, it's just rare to find it in the open.

The latest one I found was when I started fishing waiting for the boat to come to take me to *the city which teaches you Artisan first aid - Cant remember name*. I wasn't catching anything and finally a crate. I was chatting to a nice human mage about the "rare" find until the boat came.

Then the boat kicked me off and I died from fatigue *sigh*.

$5.99 I heard, not sure where I heard it, perhaps WoW forums.

Many level 60's going from RP to PVP I'm hope (as long as it's not roleplayers [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Most people will leave in a week, so you won't queue anymore. People just want to try out something new.

Hopefully you're right Luvian. It's so annoying wanting to get online to play WoW *just* for half an hour and having to sit in a queue like that.

Login to wow before you wish to play so the queue runs while you're off doing whatever
