Well after the TOB you can say that now you are finished the game. If you have not played make sure you do it is a very good way to finish off. It just needs to be done. I am not to sure if you can export your PC to any other game I think not but I could be wrong about this one.

At the time Bioware were planning to allow you to import characters into NWN. But as it turns out, for reasons of game balance, you have to lose your experience, HLAs, items, spells and have to re-do your stats for 3rd edition rules. Youd get to keep all of your name and portrait - and im not to sure on the portrait. So it was never implemented, although there is nothing to stop you recreating BG2 characters in NWN if you want to.

How sad. And I always wanted a never-ending-adventure...

No continues. The storyline will be completely different, so a new story will you get, not the advancement of the same one. And I had fallen in love with that Bhaal's heritage already

Importing is useless. I don't think you even keep your portrait because NWN's portraits are all different from BG2s. Different format? Also, your name has to be changed too because NWN uses a first and a last name.

Shortly said, NWN is a completely different game, and not a sequel of BG in any way... It may be interesting, but it will not be the old good BG. Maybe somebody writes a mod for NWN continuing BGII:ToB story, or making up a new adventure with that bhallspawn plot, but still the original game spirit will be lost. sad...

It was like seeing that crap (IMHO) Fallout Tactics after playing Fallout II. It was NOT Fallout, and that was enough

Go back and play a mod-heavy install of SOA/TOB. Play with Solaufein and some of the accompanying improved tactical challenges. Play with Kelsey. Knock yourself out.
