I was listening to the hockey game through my computer(streaming radio), and I decided to get a snack. Needless to say, my coordination wasn't exact and they happened to drop in a cup of hot cocoa. Now, while they still work, everything is reeealy high pitched and squeaky sounding. These are a goood set of headphones(well, it's the iPod headphones, put I like 'em... they fit my ears), and I don't suppose there isn't a way to fix them of said squeekiness? If not, does anyone have any good headphone suggestions? Nothing massive, please, I *hate* those ones that take up the entire side of your head. Something small would be nice... good pair of earbuds would be optimal.

Give 'em a couple of days to dry out thoroughly and see what happens.

Try taking it apart once it's dry and cleaning it. I've seen it work on a cell phone dipped in coke.

As have I. A good stint in a warm dry place is what's needed.

Ok, I'll try them again tomorrow, and see how they do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It usually depends on the substance, I spilled re bull all through my laptop's keyboard and allthough I washed it thoroughly and dried it multiple times, but it seems the other stuff in the redbull had done its damage and I was forced to get another keyboard...

I dont know what kind of damage hot chocolate would do....

Depends on how hot it was...
