Did you know Winnie The Pooh is based on a bear from Winnipeg who ended up in a zoo in the UK. Thus the name Winnie.

I used to love the Winnie the Pooh books when I was little. LOL the other day we were practicising using the WISC (IQ test for kids) and there is a section called picture completion - you look at a picture and work out what's missing. Anyway, the picture was of a bridge over a stream. My first thought, seriously, was 'there's no one playing pooh-sticks on it'

I like Pooh a lot. I had a stuffed Pooh-bear when I was a kid, and the day I lost it was one of reckoning for my parents.

I've mellowed since then a bit. These days I try to follow the Pooh Way.
