I'm on a break from school right now, and I've been playing a lot of computer games. I noticed two things about the audio tracks of games, one of which puzzles me...

1) Dungeon Siege uses a little of the music from Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. I put that down to the common influence of Chris Taylor as designer of both games. With the release of DS, he is hereby promoted to Ultimate Gaming God.

2) The other one, I haven't a clue. Warlords Battlecry II uses a distinctive music tack created by Steve Fawkner, the creator of the awesome Warlords series of games. Heroes of Might and Magic IV uses the EXACT SAME music, just a different tempo. I couldn't find any reference in the credits between the games. Any idea of the connection between WBCII and HOMMIV???

You're right...HOMM is not near as cool as WBC, but I was just wondering about the connection between the games. It is unusual to hear the same music in two different games with two different designers and publishers, one of whom supposedly wrote his own music, so I was just curious is all.
