Try using a program like WINZIP which will compact the files making them smaller.
You need to save your gamexx.sav and roster.dat . You may have to make more than one zip file and copy the files off to more than one disk. If you can't find WinZip - let me know and I'll get you a URL for downloading it! Wyv |

Tried to answer this earlier, but the system went down... Anyway, Wyvern's answer is the same that I had written in. Just wanted to add that if you go to TUCOWS, do a search on WinZip in the search box of the page and it should bring you to the download site you need for it.
Hope this works! -Sazerac |

Open up Winzip, then click on "New" for New Archive. Give it a name, like WWGAME.ZIP. Browse for the files in the Save folder, then click on them and click the "Add" button to add them to the archive. That's all you need to do. I just archived my files as an example: a 3.2 MB file compressed to a 540 K one using Winzip.
Hope this helps! -Sazerac |

Okay...make sure that you actually "create" and name an archive...just name it anything. When you've done this, you should get an "Add files" dialog box. Now use this to locate the files.
If you can't find them, make sure file types are set to All Files *.* That usually solves the problem. -Sazerac |

Alternatively...you can right-click on the game files. If you added the WinZip extensions when you installed it, "Add to Archive" should be one of the menu choices. That should work as well.

In WinZip - did you change the directory it is looking at to the W&W save directory?? (Sometimes I forget to make that simple but so important change!)
Hope you get them saved! Wyv |
