Bought BG1 in 1999, TOTSC a year later, then BG2 & ToB. This morning Melissan finally fell after 2 very frustrating weeks and a dozen reloads.
What the hell do I do now!!?? I've played the same character all the way through - feels like a death in the family! Wish I could have said goodbye to Minsc and Nalia - & even Yoshimo, who probably wasn't a bad guy really, probably had a bad start in life! When I got stuck I asked for help from the forums - thanks to everyone who made suggestions. The one I liked best was getting Draconis trapped behind the pillars - worked great!! Heck, now I might even have to talk to that woman I keep seeing around the house - I think she lives here too. Unless there's another game that you adventurers recommend? |

Well you can restart witha new character if you feel like it and do things you didn't do in your game.
Other than that I would recomend planescape-torment.

Install al -Improved baddies-patches and play again indeed, makes the game a whole lot tougher .. also install " Ascension" , improves the ending of ToB and some dialogue-options.
If you've allready doen this: Help ME !! I gave you the Draconis behind the pillars-tip ... but i cant beat the Ascension-version of the Final Battle with Melissan Tried 8 times or so .. but got my butt kicked so incredibly hard, that i just gave up Paty-make up: Me, avenger druid , lvl 30 or so Viconia lvl 40 Edwin lvl 29 Sarevok lvl 28

Try some third-party addons like Ascension or some of the romance patches to prolong the life of your game.
And if you do decide to give it away, there's Neverwinter Nights just around the corner. |

And not only Planescape Torment is advised but also Icewind Dale and it's expansion Heart of Winter (and I have heard it said that there will be Icewind Dale 2 as well)
I know IWD is more linear, but nevertheless well worth playing

I think, not sure though, that you can import your character from BG2 to Neverwinternights..
