and I'm wondering which MOD's anyone would suggest. I like to use a few of the official ones: master index, area effect arrows etc.
I tried scanning through the list of Mods on my own, but they're massively long. So feel free to suggest anything you've enjoyed.

I HIGHLY recomend the unofficial morrowind patch by Thepal
http://www.etherealsoftware.com.au/patch/ The only other patch I tended to use was an "Herbalism" patch that let you "pick" flowers by activating them, rather then having to mess with the opened container screen. Herbalism For Purists seems to be the best option I could find. There are other "Herbalism" mods that have more effects on the game. http://btb2.free.fr/site/downloads/m..._herbalism.zip Edit: I've never used this one but it looks helpful: The Morrowind Code Patch http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19510 Last edited by Seraph; 03-12-2009 at 10:36 PM. |

If I use the unofficial morrowind patch, should I avoid using the official one? The link didn't specify if some fixes would overlap and/or interfere. Also, I only have Morrowind and Tribunal. Should I use the "Requires Morrowind" patch or the "Requires Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon" patch?
The herbalism patch sounds awesome, something like the Oblivion ingredients gathering. I may try the Code Patch, but it sounds a lot like the unnoficial patch, so the issue of conflicts arises again. Still, a little trial and error wouldn't be too bad. Anywho, thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to try them out.

If you're using the unofficial patch the correct approach is to:
Install Morrowind Install Tribunal Patch Morrowing/Tribunal with whatever the lastest patch is Install the unofficial patch Install whatever other plugins you have. If you don't have bloodmoon then don't use the "Requires Morrowind, Tibunal and Bloodmoon" patch. Use the "Requires Morrowind" patch. You'll need to also decide if you want to use the "stable" 1.2.1 or the beta 1.2.2b version. I'd suggest the latter, but it's up to you. You might also look at the text patch on baulderdash http://www.baldurdash.org/TESMW/TESMW.html (If you haven't guessed, I tend to use mods mostly as bugfixes.) |
