Boo... the npc? *spoiler maybe

Recently I was fighting some vampires in Waukeen's Promenade, and after I was done, I noticed a rat wandering about. Normally I don't pay much attention to animals but this one I had clicked while trying to get some coins on the ground. As with everything else that doesn't talk I saw the red message "Boo has nothing to say to you."

So naturally this leaves me troubled. What sinister force would cause a rat to masquerade as the loveable butt-kicking hamster of goodness?

Hmm. I don`t know. Maybe it is a bug. Do you have the latest patches and fixes?

I have ToB, ToB official patch 26498, ToB fixpack 1.12, ToB text update 1.2, and the Nalia Romance with patch 1.03 ( for ToB ) installed at the moment.

Minsc is also in my party if that has any relevance.

Or Boo has some nasty offspring walking around in Athkatla who, in turn, are called Boo as well [img]smile.gif[/img] Or maybe Boo became polymorfed into a rat when he was eating some of Jaheira's magic cookies. Or maybe it wasn't Boo, but it was his brother, Buu! Or maybe it was Boo's spirit (the little (b)rat!)

Well, I don't know about this Boo, but you can make Boo by pressing ctrl-space and then typing CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Boo"). He is quite powerful, and has a dex of 25, if you ctrl-q him to your party. However, he only has 2 hit points. Oh, by the way, you can only cheat if you have Debug Mode=1 activated in the Baldur.ini file.
