is traveling across the map in BG2 like traveling across a map in fallout or arcaum, do you warp to the selected area or do you accualy move there, and are there random encounters and stuff

also somthing that i like in an rpg is the option to continue playing after the game isover, is there an option like that in BG2

It's a lot like Fallout (heck, both games are made by the same company ) where your party is pretty much sent to their destination with little hassle. There are a few random encounters, but about 60% of them are plot-related random encounters. (Play the game, you'll know what I mean.)

I don't understand the question. The game ends either when the main character dies or you reach the end of the game. (Wish I knew if something was getting lost in the translation, but eh, some people choose to be cutesy with their locations. )

ok, at the end of lets say migh and magic IX, you beat the game, yes but you are still able to roam around the world and discover things...is it like that in BG2?

Nope. Once you've defeated the final boss, the game is over.
