hey this is my first time posting and im hoping I dont sound dumb.
ok I got a new computer 3 days ago and when I went to go install Baldurs gate 2 I found out that my disc two is broken. Question- Can I use someone elses disc two with the rest of my discs? You need disc 2 to clear the cd check when you start the game i believe..if you have a friend who has a disc 2, you might wanna borrow it if he/she doesnt need it..

OK first i must say congrats. on not refering to pirating. Second i am sure you can mix disc because i did it with BG1. You can not buy just one disc and you need all the discs to install it. I suggegest you re-buy the game it wont be that bad the price of BG2 has gon down.

Your best bet would probably be to find a friend who has the game, install using their disk, and then play the game using either your disk or a burned copy of their Disc 2.
Failing that, I believe BioWare is still issuing replacements for valid reasons; you could contact their customer support (www.bioware.com), send them your broken disc, and ask that they send you a clean copy.

Wow didnt think i wuld get a reply so soon.
Well im going to take a couple of the ideas im going to try to ge a friends disc 2 burn it and if it dosent work ill send the broken one to bioware and hope I get a new one |
