= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = After leaving spellhold, I choose to follow the sailor down to the town and take his ship back, however After I went and stole the horn from that chick's house, I went to the dock and that sailor was nowhere to be found.. I had to go back to that portal and take it back to get off the island.. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I finished all the quests I could find on the island but the sailor never came back.. /shrug, just wondering if there was something else I was supposed to do in order to get him to come back.

He might actually be on the boat, at that point. Can't remember for sure but that is my best guess.

I checked everywhere in the town (Even in the houses and stuff) and he was nowhere to be found.. I even killed the pirate that was sitting "guarding" the boat.. /shrug.. no biggie.. I took the portal.. I was just curious..

Oh!! Hrm.. Should still have a save from back in there.. As I just took the portal and then logged off as I was tired from having spent so much time looking for that crack head..
Any thoughts on why he isnt spawning??? What are the requirements to get him to spawn?

As far as I know, there are no requirements for getting him to spawn....he should be standing on the very end of the docks (not next to Desharik's ship), as soon as you leave the Vulgar Monkey. His presence is not keyed to anything (such as a specific time of day), so if he isn't there, you can definitely chalk it up as a bug, and cheat him back in with the CLUA Console.

In Baldur.ini, while Baldur's Gate II is closed, under the program settings header, put in the line:
Debug Mode = 1 Next, go into the game itself and load up the game in question. Hold down ctrl and hit space (NOTE: If you have msn messenger it sometimes will bring up boss mode. I recommend disabling this) Next, type in one of the following codes (I'm not sure which .CRE file it is...) CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("PPSHA") Doing this will create a Saemon Havarian for you. Just try each one until you get the right one. |
