Valygar suddenly started a conversation the other day with Anomen, I think, about how much he hates wizards and how one killed Suna? Is Suna the Suna Seni person I killed mounths ago?

Suna Seni was a character that was all but cut out of the original game (they changed it so that she is a random encounter with some bandits). She was originally linked to Valygar. There is a mod out there now that reinstates that relationship (Unfinished Business mod), along with other quests that were cut out due to time constraints.
