Heh if you are new, before reading this portion of my character's adventure, I'd like to point you to some links first:

The Adventures of Jerr Quickfoot:

The Continuing Adventures of Jerr Quickfoot:
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...c;f=2;t=023516

As for the rest of you, these are the chronicles of the brave, dashing and debonair Halfling's, known as Jerr Quickfoot, adventures in Watcher's Keep.

Lvl 11/14 Fighter/Thief as of the start of Watcher's Keep.

The rest of the party is:

Jaheira
Aerie
Minsc
Anomen
Nalia

Chapter One: Why Can't I Say No To Chubby Guys?

After buying the Sword of Mask at Watcher's Keep, the head priest known as Odren had a talk with me. He kindly asked me if I would use a scroll to banish a demon from Watcher's Keep's lowest level. Why can't I say no to chubby guys? I agreed.

Anomen was ecstatic, as he had always wanted to tour Watcher's Keep. First, we had a quest for a Gong to finish (detailed in the Continuing Adventures).

After we had finished that quest, among other quests, we headed to Watcher's Keep. The first level was dank and gloomy. Poor Minsc lost circulation in his left leg as Aerie held on for dear life. That elf hates the dark. Instead of taking the ominous-looking big doors, we opted for the smaller door to the left of the entrance.

That was a good decision. We found 1200 gold in a cabinet and some nice bracers. We talked to the ghost in there, but he was so cold. It was as good a place as any to rest. Obviously, though, that ghost wasn't cold enough to sneak a peek under Aerie's robes while she was asleep When we awoke, we entered the next room and battle a golem. A Golem Maid. Well, at least those Helm priests found a better use than thos wizards for those golems.

Then in the other room were shadows and wraiths. Aerie and Anomen finished those with Holy Smite spells.

After more searching, we found one of Eliminster's books, a Golem Manual, a bell, and other nice goodies. Some slippers too, with a tinderbox. Let's just say we found way too much stuff to mention.

We pleased the ghost by lighting a fireplace, got a new sword after trying to take a bible, and pleased an angry Lich by giving him his slippers. Much to Nalia's chagrin of course... she swore they made her corns feel more comfortable.

After activating the portal to the next level, the damned sculptures came to life and attacked! They were easy to kill, though.

Chapter Two: Why We Hate Demons So Much

After selling some items, and storing others, we headed to the second level of Watcher's Keep. As we entered that level, we met a demon who we thought could've been The Imprisoned One. He said he wasn't, and would pay us in Ice Cream if we freed him.

"Oh no!" I explained, "I shan't fall for that 'gain!"

Well he wouldn't shut up after that! Kept talking about a demon named Errtu and how cool he was! So the party finally agreed to free him.

We had to get four rods to free him. The first room we went to was the southwestern one, which had Vampire Mists to fight. Aerie and Anomen are always a big help with Vampire Mists. Searching the room, Minsc found a note by some Ice Wizard. After reading it I discovered it was a recipe for Bubble Gum Ice Cream so I pocketed it!

The next room, northwest from the demon, had Dessert Trolls. Nalia used her wand of Cloudkill to kill them and I met the dumbest imp in all of Toril in that room. After gesturing at me with his middle fingers, we found a note detailing how to destroy the Ice Wizard's pets.

So we headed to the southeastern room and killed some spiders, found another note.

Then northwest to kill Imps. Another note.

What is it with wizards and grudges exactly? Is it on their to-do lists to have grudges? Or do they crave the attention that they don't get at a harem?

Either way, it was time to get to work. We entered the Giant Fan room and almost died from that battle. Next was the poison room, where we almost died too. Then the ice room, which was easier than Safana in BGI, so says Minsc, to which Jaheira's reply was "Buuurrnnn!"

The fire giant was harder, and I was the only one willing to kill him.

Hardest of all, though, was the demon. After I freed him he decided his first meal would be us! Luckily, we found his weakness halfway through the battle...

Funny the faces a demon makes when having to listen to Anomen's stories...

Chapter Three: By Brandobaris, What's With Helm and Demons!?

The third level, we met a crazy elf named Yakman. Yakman thought we were demons known as "Celine Dion" so he ran away from us. After following him, I assured him none of us were demons. Then Jaheira healed him and he had the audacity to badmouth Halflings.

So Aerie cast Confusion on him for me and he was Yakman once again!

Searching the portals, we were attacked with wild magic by quasits! Worst of all, there magic turned Anomen and I into women! After the quasits' deaths, everyone had a laugh at our expense...

Though I have to admit, I looked goooood for a woman!

After that, it was a neverending stream of battles with demons. Battle after battle, demons, and we almost died each time. Then when we ran into a demon--wraith, poor Minsc and Anomen were killed! Luckily Aerie had that ressurecting wand.

Finally we meet some Cambion and tieflings who want to play poker with us. With my l33t cheating skillz I beat them!

We sold some items, then stored some. I switched to sword and shield style. Less attacks but better backstab.

Chapter Four: The Fourth Level Pt. 1

Did I mention before we went to store items and sell some more, we entered the portal to the next level and met a crazy mage torturing Mind Flayers and Githyanki? No? After he got bored, I had a chat with the wizard. He was stuck behind a glass shield in a machine and I made the mistake of asking exactly where he uses the latrine in that thing. The bloody spellcaster cast Lightning at us using the machine!

So we then left... sold the items, etc. Then went back into the level. We literally didn't notice the Yaun-ti waiting for use until one followed us all the way back to the wizard! After killing it with a combination of Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Flame Strike, and Magic Missile, I decided it's be a good opportunity to test my newfound skill with the Sword and Shield Style of fighting.

I snuck behind the Yaun-ti mage as Nalia cast peirce magic on him. I did 140 damage with my backstab! That's the most I ever did!

Then we ran, and the rest of the group decimated the Yaun-ti.

Next we entered the Eastern Room only to encounter spiders. Aerie hates spiders. So much so that while we were battling them she saw fit to climb on top of a chair and cast five fireballs at us! Luckily, we ducked in time and survived. Poor Boo was a bit singed, though. Oh wait, that was all of us! Aerie apologized for her reaction and we continued on.

I scouted ahead and saw a group of trolls. After reporting them, Aerie, Anomen, Nalia, and Jaheira cast some spells on the group while I set traps. Then I backstabbed one of the trolls (Only 45 this time, I felt saddened ), and lured them to the group! Nalia used one of her Fireball Charges from her wand as I ran to the group, taking out two Trolls already damaged from the traps.

Then we set upon hacking the rest up.

After that was done, the party encountered Magic Golems. Some of us had mundane weapons so they were easy to kill.

In the western room, we were nearly killed by Mimics and Green Slimes. Then, we encountered a group of Shadows. Two Holy Smites worked well there!

We went outside for some much-needed rest. Anomen finally confessed his love to Minsc. Now Minsc is avoiding the man like the plague! It's not that Minsc has anything against us gay folk, it's that Anomen just creeps him out.

He also says Boo thinks the man reeks of stupidity.

After camp, we headed into the northern caverns of level four. Scouting ahead, I backstabbed a Mind Flayer, and we killed a group of Umber Hulks.

Anomen took that time to recite a poem to Minsc:

M is for the way you make me feel like a man!
I is the Roman Numeral for One, you, the only one!
N is for the nights I long to hold you!
S is for those sexy speeches you give about Butt-Kicking!
C is for the Crusts you cut off of your PB&J sandwiches!
