i recently bought TOB. yay!
i wanted to know if it is a good idea, if im going to start soa again, i want ot play at a harder difficulty, so i should use my PC imported from the end of the game when i played on easy, would this make the game too unbalanced? i decided to put this post in here too as well as in the SOA board

first i put it in the normal SOA board, then i decided it may be relevent for TOB, so i out in in herer too so people wounldnt complain that i should put it in TOB.
also to add, i have a savegame partway through the game, just left underdark i think, if i duplicate the save file, can i keep playing from there with watchers keep or do i need to start again to get all the benifits of TOB.

Well, ToB gets harder as your levels progress. For the first time through, at least, I'd do it on easy.
You get the ToB benefits right where you left off. Go to watchers keep now, if you want, or wait until the ToB section. |

Well, maybe not for a seasoned player, but my first time through was pretty difficult for me.

This may sound like personal flattery (it's not), but I found ToB to be unbelievably easy... on normal. Sure, some hard fights here and there, but wanton use of the great items found in Watcher's Keep and HLA's made it a quick excursion. Now, without Watcher's Keep for the xp and items, it would be much harder (though the Keep is too much fun to pass up on).
