Has anyone ever had BGII:SoA and it run too slow, even though your computer hits the "Recommended" guidelines for specs? I have, and here is a solution!

Turn all background and ambient music off! OK, it is less interesting, but it runs fast, and you still have the game to entertain you!

Turn off your 3D, drag the default options down to Minimum. There's a bug in ToB that doesn't allow you to save your config changes to a new game session. Each time you play you have to continue adjusting some of the options, which will revert to their defaults when you start a game session.

I've got a P4 1.5Ghz with 256Mb RAM so I don't have a problem with it.
