How do i kill the demilich in the docks???

Minsc
Mazzy
Valygar
Yoshimo
Arie
Me, dont even remember name of the class =( the one that u dont have to learn spells to. and have a max amount of spells that an be used. Is on level 13 or 14.

Got some nice things and much money and most of the best gear, i think/hope got tob and latest patches... so give me tips just how to kill him

Had inmind that if Minsc goes berserk he was imune to hes imprisoment... but noo...

Can say i have played threw BG2 2 times before only have 2 quests that i want to do then im going after imoen.

Havent been here for in almost 7 month i think maby much more =( and tried to find the search button but where is it. In FAQ
"Top of most pages" i dont see it...

Wow Been a While since Ive answered the good old Kangaxx Question... well Since your a sorcerer it should be easy.. if you dont already havet Protection for spells learnt then buy a scroll from Ribald or someone and then cast it and select abjuration... then whack the hell out of him with +4 weapons..... Or you could try it the hard way and try timestoping and spell trapping and blade of disastarring... but that costs alot of money for the scrolls

Hmm so only +4 weaponds bite on him. Staff of magic doesnt hmm well gota try =)

Money is no problem =) got 75 000 have been on moneyhunt =)

And the final question where is the search button =(

1. Spell immunity cannot be bought at Ribald. The only sure places where the spell is are:
a) The Spider Nest at the Graveyard
b) A shop in Trademeet.
2. Time Stop, Black Blade of Disaster, etc. Billy does not seem to be in Chapter 6 (his level would be higher in that case). I daresay Billy is in Chapter 3. Recommendations:
a) Kangaxx the demilich can be hit only by +4 or +5 weapons. Supposing that you are in Chapter 3, the only possibilities you have are:
- Staff of Rynn. Can be boutht at Ribald.
- Carsomyr. Only a paladin can equip it. Can be found in Windspear Hills.
- Staff of Magi. Only a mage (sorceror) can equip it. Twisted Rune.
- Mordekainen Sword. These swords are +4.
b) You must do something with the Imprisonment ability of Kangaxx the demilich. Your possibilities in Chapter 3 are:
- Green scrolls Protection from Magic. Can be bought at Ribald. Only 2 scrolls can be bought and I've never found another one.
- Green scrolls Protection from Undead. Can be bought at Ribald. I've never tried them because I supposed that Kangaxx the demilich was not an undead - some of its behaviour contradicted it. But it is reported repeatedly that Kangaxx the demilich IS an undead and that the scrolls do work. Try them.
- Spell Immunity set to Abjuration. Only a mage (sorceror) can be protected by the spell.

Hi [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img] Here is how i got him.

Got 2 (green) scrools Protection from Magic. 1. from the docks and 1. from Waukeen`s Promenade.. I think... cast it on Minsc and Keldron. (you don`t have keldron so use Mazzy with the best weapon you have)
Minsc used The Sleeper +2 and berserk (I don`t know how but Minsc did good damage with this +2 weapon [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img] ) i had only the sleeper on him so he don`t change weapon in fight. ! The rest of the party away in the corner, and just looking at the fight. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It cannot be considered cheating because you do not do anything illegal but it can be considered cheezy because you take an advantage from a bug in the game and you know it [img]smile.gif[/img]
