Druids questions (maybe spoilers)

right my party make up is:
me fighter 20
me cavalier 10
me fighter/thief 9/11
aerie cleric/mage 11/11
jaheira druid/fighter 13/10?
right i was gonna get imoen and my party wouyld be complete buuuut:
1)who is better cernd or jaheira? i think maybe jaheira cos if i dropped her for cernd i would only hav 3 tanks rather than 4.
2) can jaheira/cernd challenge for the druid grove at level 14 or does it hav to be a player character?
any help appreciated

1) Depends. Jaheira will probably not hit lvl 15 in ToB without you doing lot of sidequests. So Jaheira would be better as a tank, while Cernd would be a better spellcaster, though keep in mind that he can't cast spells while shapeshifted. 3 tanks is all you need IMHO, but either setup could work.

2) Nope. Druid grove is, AFAIK, main character only. However, either can fight Faldorn in the Trademeet quest. [img]smile.gif[/img]

1) I would say Jaheira, because of her abilities both as a Druid and as a Fighter. As True_Moose said, Cernd is the better spellcaster, and Jaheira is the beter tank. So it's really up to what paty you have. In your party, Cernd would be best.

2) Cernd can fight against Faldorn in the Trademeet-quest only. After that, you're the only one who can.

I'd just like to point out that "Cernd is a better spellcaster than Jaheira is true in only 2 ways:
1) He'll get to Level 15 in half the time. This is a huge bonus when you're between 3 million and 6 million EXP, but once Jaheira hits 6 mil, that benefit is erased.
2) Cernd's 18 WIS grants him only four more spells per day than Jaheira: 2 of Level 2, 1 of Level 3, and 1 of Level 4. Even if you gave him an extra point of WIS, that'd still only mean an additional 1 Level 1 and 1 Level 4. Consider carefully whether you think this benefit outweighs being able to wear Plate and be a decent Tank.
