After killing Mulahey, I didn't let him surrender, I wanted his gear! I rescued Xan, gave him "Moonblade", and left that little cavern inside the mines. But, as soon as I do that the game minimises and then the icon on the toolbar disappears, no error message or anything!

Maybe someone could shed some light?

I got that Honourary Ring Of Sune thing from the mines and gave it to Jaheira. But she only got the extra Level 1 spell, but not the 2, 3 and 4 level spells. Does she have to have at least 1 spell of that level for it to work? Because she is only level 2, and only has level 1 spells!

Help! And please help with the above!!

As for Mulanay it does not matter about lettign him surender ( or at least not with any of my parites) I tired it and then he turned around and attacked me.

Thanks for the patch! Anyway, I think you misunderstood what I meant. I didn't have a problem with that. I had a problem because the game exited after I killed him.

I killed him and in Nashkell afterwards, I had a dream. I got Cure Light Wounds after it, but in the dream it said something about "You.... WILL... learn.". It was making reference to Mulahey, because it described me descending into the mines, and seeing him as I left him.

I felt guilty, I should have let him surrender, he had no descent gear on him anyway!

Just to let you know,

whatever you do in the game, there is no possible way to keep Mulahy alive. if you allow him to surrender, he will turn around and attack you, he is supposed to die...
the dream is part of the game, you should not feel bad because you killed him, you will not kill him in the dream. that is where the "you will learn" thing comes into play, you will learn to kill...

as for your problem about the game closing on you, what resolution are you running your computer on?
or are you missing any files for baldurs gate?
I cant really think of anything because I dont know any specifics about your computer...

It sounds like the game is having trouble loading that first area where you exit the mines. If the latest patch doesn't fix the problem then you could just leave the Nashkel mines the way you came in and skip the other area entirely, or perhaps you could come back to it later because it might load correctly if you enter it from a different direction. The area in question can be found by going East from the Naskkel Carnival, or from the Nashkel mine site by going East then North.
