as far as i remember there are:

1 strength
1 dexterity
1 constitution
1 intelligence
3 wisdom
? charisma(i cant remember if there is 1 for charisma

****minor spoiler****

any help would be appreciated, but please make it accurate, especially with the books that permanently raise wisdom, i know there is a way to keep the on in the city where you have to do the quest for the waterqueen.

Strength - Candlekeep revisited
Dexterity - Theives guild in BG, in barrell behind Black Lily
Constitution - Lighthouse area
Inteligence - Ramazith's tower in BG, on top floor
Wisdom - Remarkably, there are 3! There is one in the Lady's House and one in The Water Queen's House. You may PP or kill to obtain them. IMPORTANT! :Make sure you complete Lothander's quest and Varci Cornhurlante's quest before you obtain them. The third is in Candlekeep revisited.
Charisma - In a cave in the Gnoll Fortress area

Enjoy!

Correction on the WIS-tomes

One in Candlekeep revisited
One in Durlags Tower
One from the Lady's house

The trick for keeping the third one is to take it to the Bitch Queen's house and demanding the geas removal scroll before handing over the Tome - then saying that you actually don't have the Tome. This will cause the High Priestess to go hostile - kill her for 6.000 xp

Dude just go to the thread named "Tomes" on page three of this very forum. Everything that you wanted to know about Tomes but were afraid to ask.
