hi
ive read the old posts regarding this topic but i guess they havent been detailed enough for me to find the spare parts to get the east cart to work
i have been all over the side with the cart that works
i have found 3 mining rooms. one has an exit to a weird lift with a switch. the other two both have chests. and one has a broken cart
any idea where this thing might be hiding...thanks

In the one that has an exit to the weird lift with the switch. Look closely on the floor around the centre of the room - see if your cursor highlights anything. Check all your inventories to see if someone has already picked up the handle. Happy hunting.

this is frustrating...have searched that room all over...cannot find it
i suppose the only thing would be that i picked it up and left it somewhere else...though i really dont remember it

it is right next to the broken cart and a real bitch to see. Somewhat like the last piece of treasure in a chest. Look all round the cart and watch the cursor it will suddenly change from broken cart to unknown object or whatever. I must admit I thought the cart was in the room with the other exit to the switch. Make sure you know your way back here as you will have to make two more trips to the switch.

i finally found it
it was in the room with the broken cart not the room with the side exit to the switch
i know it was not in this room when i looked earlier maybe exiting the caves and reentering did something
