Hey All,
So I've pretty much wrapped up the castle, just need to go back and kill Madda? Can I get the ring and all the other stuff by killing her? How difficult is she? Also, in Lich room how do I get pass level 12 lock??? Do I need skill level 12 lock pick? (hope not.) I have the Lich's staff...does that open the study door? Also, I thought I read something about his heart being needed for another quest...any ideas if this is true and where I might find it? THANKS!!! |

Hope your lock skills are good or your patience is better. Mussy did pick a difficult lock once, took many reloads and 40 minutes.
You will know when you are in the place to search out Liches heart . . . it aint here. |

To open the Level 12 lock, you need a Rogue character (or Bard, Ninja, or Assassin) that has at least a 7 skill in Traps & Locks. Go to Brimloch Roon, purchase a Level 5 lockpick from the Pawn Shop, and go back to the Skull Castle. Level 7 skill + Level 5 lockpick = Level 12 = success. It worked for me.
If you have a character with higher than Level 7 Traps & Locks, buy the corresponding level of lockpick that will raise him/her up to Level 12. Be sure to sell the lockpick back, BTW, you won't need it for anything else in the game. Sazerac |

Or you can do what my Pixie priest did... Bash the damn thing repeatedly...
(Yes, a PIXIE busted the level 12 lock... He has 24 strength) Only took three stirkes too... Picture if you will, my Assassin can't get it open, after wasting several lockpicks and a lot of her patience... The Samurai and Paladin look about with a "Now what?" look on their faces, and a little pixie comes up front and pounds on the lock. Whap, whop, and the third time, crunch... The door opens, to the rest of the party's disbelief. He smiles, and walks back to the number 5 position. The two toughs' jaws drop to the ground. |

LOL Gina!! That was good.
Just for the record, my lockpicker just got through with only T&L skill of 10 and a Dex of 20, no lockpicks. So it can be done with lower than 12 level skill; just a lot of patience. Sazerac. |
