FRUSTRATED @ Toad Village

Does anyone out there know how to avoid getting stuck in the tunnels in toad village? It is becoming increasingly frustrating!!! I have had to start my game over once already and I don't want to have to do it again, I like how my characters are progressing. I have downloded and installed the patch but that does not seen to help. I would be gratefull if anyone could help me out.

Have you tried talking to the "problem toad". Sometimes when you say goodbye they will walk away. Or you can push the toad back out of the way.

One last thing to try: Save first. If there are no other toads around, kill it. Just make sure you do it with one blow or he will call for help and all toads will attack.

Thanks Skywalker,

I had tried everything you suggested except for killing the toad in one blow. So I took your advice and I fried him with one of my wizards (with elemental blast). Now I'm off to the toadem pole. Couldn't have done it without you.
