I got up to the fight against the WWs and the game looped on me :-/

The WW leader would keep respawning and saying the same things and the fight would loop

I was looking at my CDs collecting dust and thinking about giving it another go.

So I was wondering if there might be a fix for this bug. I got so annoyed I uninstalled the game so long ago

Stg similar happened to me - Durlag and family kept respawning. Are both of you sure you run fully patched game? I have read somewhere that the game "run out of global variables". I am not sure how that happens, but newer patches should fix that.
I could help you people with Clua codes, but need to know more about it.
Wurm, describe the problem more precisely, please. And what is ww leader's name (ingame name, not a code).
Grungi, additional explanation would be nice, too.

Oh man it was years ago :-/ and I was fully patched at the time.

I don't remember her name but hey I am going to reinstall the game so when I get to that point again and it happens again I will remember your offer.

Thanks!

I program some, and I can't see how you can run out of global variables. YOu can use any combonation of letters as a variable, so running out would require A LOT of variables. But, it is quite easy to make an infinite loop, without knowing it.

my additional explanation is on another thread on here, but here it is again

done everything though sneakily beat aec-letec so not actually gaining any exp for him or any kudos from anyone (the guy in the inn still thinks hes alive and keeps telling me "the cultists will begin as soon as they can" but anyway i then decided to do werewolf island and spoke to mendas gave him the plans and he told me to meet him outside, and hes simply not there, anywhere on the map

TOTSC Version 1.3.5512 and higher patches all fix the global variables problem, and I'm positive they deal with the werewolf bug as well.
That should be the answer.

The variables are stored in an array. That array hold the name and value, so you can call it whatever you want. But the array can only hold so many pairs. When they wrote BG1 they didnt realise how many they were going to use, it being the first time they had used IE to make a game and the whole thing was experimental. Its funny how these things add up, and when TotSC came out they hadnt allocated enough storage. They fixed it next patch.
