I've been trying to do the toad village quest forever now but the Shaman door when I click on it...it simply shows "The SHaman's Door isn't working..." Any clues or help please...this is driving me nuts!

Anyone else have trouble where you cleanse the toadem and even get the reward from Shaman but everyone else in town and on the dock acts as if you haven't done quest yet?

You mean Mekdawa, I suppose? He's pretty stupid all the way around. Try saying "Cet" at him and watch him run screaming into the night! It's a hoot.

There are a number of NPCs for which you do quests and get no proper reaction from them afterwards! Ah well - at least here on the board we'll acknowledge your achievements!

He should also respond when you say ukabu. Just remember to tell him good-bye when you leave otherwise you will not get the spear and gold when you return from the toadem quest. Make sure the same character who conversed with him is selected when you return.
