Multplayer Question.........

I am trying to play multiplayer with my brother but I cant find my IP address to give him. I have read my book and my readme files and they say nothing. Can someone please tell me step by step where to find this? Or even better how to set up a multiplayer game?

Depends how your network is set up.

If you are on a LAN network, you'll need to make sure you can connect normally to the other computer, then use tools in the control panel to find out your IP address.

If you want to play over the Internet, things are a little bit easier. Call up a MSDOS window and type "ipconfig". This will tell you your IP address.

Now start a game of Baldurs Gate and choose to set up a server.

Then get your brother to use his Baldurs Gate .exe and add your IP address as his remote server. Then he needs to connect and all is well in the world [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think there may also be a way to run a game of Baldurs Gate through msn messenger, you could try just clicking 'play Baldurs Gate online now' [img]smile.gif[/img]
