I just spent about $250.00 for NWN, new graphics and more ram (512) yea I know I didn’t need that much but why stop at 256. So now I'm in the game and it's visually great but I have no weight allowance, its skimpy on treasure and everything costs an arm and a leg. You have no NPC control (they can't even carry anything for you) and the dialogue is almost non-existent. Now don't get me wrong I aint taken it back cause I do enjoy it and soon as I figure out how to get into a multiplayer game I'm sure it will be wild so I'm looking forward to that. SOOOOOOOOOO my question is how does everyone else feel & which game do you prefer and why???????????????

you know i got people asking me online how a lvl 6 barb is carring around high lvl equip. and i just say its all on chap 1 you gotta know how to find it. weight allowance is set by your strength. your henchman is set like that because the game is based on multiplayer action. they dont need 5 players with 5 extra npc's gonna get some problems. besides works great with one npc. make your npc opposite from what you are if you want a compliment to your group. fighters get healers or mages. mages get fighters or heaklers and so on. treasure just isnt out and about either you have to kill bosses and so on. all those nice plus one weapons you find, you can upgrade them over at the local blacksmith. all those weird ingredients such as adamantite, fairy dust and so on can be used to make your weapons even better. hell i got a diamond and a +1 breastplate turned into chromatic plate. good defensivlty against elements. take a great axe and adamantite you get stonefire great axe. and so on. the game has limitless potential you just gotta know how to find it. also when you are on line finally ask around how to get stuff they all can help in some way.

Thanks, after reading this I went hunting for the blacksmith, got the book from him on making armor/weapons>>>big help. I still don't like the lack of control over my henchman. The game definitely gets better as you go, lots of quests, but I do miss all the sarcasm BGI & II had from the different NPC's.
