Do i need...

...some specific key to open the river plug thingie in the cloakwood mines? im playing BGT and it just happens to crash in the last level of the mines when i go too far down. if i do need a key, can i CLUA it in?

yep - iirc there's a 'key to the river plug' on or near the last boss in the mines - i don't know the clua code, sorry

You'll need to get a key by killing Daveorn on the lowest level (level four?) to be able to open the river plug

is it crashing after u kill davaeron? If it is then i know why, this happened to me. First of all, what is the latest patch u have on? i think it is patch 1.10 that fixes this, its the patch that u get tisunpack.exe to chan ur .tiz to .tis If u do have this patch and have put it on and use the tisunpack to change the .tiz's to .tis' then make sure there in ur override folder and make sure if they are that they are not in a folder within the override. If this doesnt helo then il try and go into more detail. Hope it does though - Ross

the key should be on Davaerons body when u kill him. Have u checked him over?

IIRC the key is in the chest but I'm not sure. Try to check in a walkthrough and if it isn't there the item code is MISC83

it is on his body. BTW, when you go on the elevator back up (in the area where you fight Daveorn), make sure you un-equip your boots of speed if you have them on. Once you go up the elevator, you can put them back on. IIRC, there is a bug that stops the boots from working if you wear them when you go on the elevator.

i didnt get that bug when i went in the elevator, maybe it gets fixed in the patch or the baldurash patch or something.
