Yes, well we need to do something about that don't we Gabe?

Come on, we want more visitors here!!! How about each day someone writes a review of a book they've read? That would be a good idea!!

I come here. I love talking about fantasy books. Nobody that I know now seems to like that sort of thing.

Book reviews - that's a great idea - then we can have discussions about whether we agree/disagree, different aspects that we liked/disliked etc.
I promise to join in with that, but after I've written my dissertation OK?

Oh yes, I forgot to answer the original question.

I think it's kind of a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' thing! I only pop in here a couple of times a week, because I assume that nothing much has changed. If there were loads of new posts every day I'd spend longer here, and stop in every night. Gabriel, your post reminded me to come back here to see if anyone else had answered, and a few have, so your thread has increased the board population! - a success! I think once we get into the habit of checking AND POSTING here every time we log on, it will become more natural to do so, and it will get busier. Same with polls.

I need to actually READ something in order to post on current interests...sigh..that means taking a bit of RL time away from the board!

And I LOVE this forum. I'd like to see it take off.
