I'm surprised no-ones already posted a topic about this. If they have, I must have missed it. Anyway, how many of you have seen this film? What did you all think? I must admit, I liked it a lot. I'd give it about an 8.5 to a 9 out of 10. This one I'll buy on DVD. Twas a tad predictable in places, but otherwise it was excellent. . Look forward to hearing your views.

I enjoyed it but found the plot a little thin. The cinematography and set design were awesome though. I predict it will win Oscars for both

<font color = lightgreen>As long as we understand that this is simply a movie, one may accept the idea of an American military officer training Japanese troops as something that could have happened. If we ignore this minor plot device (without which there would be no movie) and focus on the interaction of the two main characters, then the movie is excellent. I just got back from seeing it and found it very enjoyable. I liked seeing the ninjas attacking the samurai village.
