Tell me when all DC based movies started to suck (I think it started with Batman and Robin, but I'm not sure). Why did they see fit to make a movie that test audiences demanded that they re-shoot? If you want to see what I mean, click here , and here

I am left confused. Was I supposed to find a particular page on that website? Maybe I need you to explain more of your grief. Sorry...it is early in the morning for me here.

Sir Degrader, I can feel your anger!
sadly, WB had made it clearly that this movie was not made for comic fans. Using Catwoman as the movie title is only a way to cash in the comic book movie fever and trick underinformed comic fans and comic book movie suckers (= those who will go see any movie advertised as comic book movies even if it isn't one)into the theaters.

Larry, maybe it takes a comic fan (one who actually knows Catwoman at that) to be angry at the movie

Actually it started with Batman Forever, when Tim Burton let Joel Schumaker have any influence on the Batman franchise whatsoever. The movie looks like a piece of garbage to me, and totally throws away the history that went so carefully into making an awesome character, in leiu of using a subpar prima dona who can't act, and doesn't look that good in a catsuit. They should've gotten someone who actually looks like the character (Michelle Pfieffer was good, but wasn't a brunette, the actress from the original live action Batman show was a great fit for the part, but it's been too long )

Um, it was Batman Returns that had Catwoman and Penguin in it. Batman Forever had Riddler and Two-Face :geek:

Even if Catwoman were brunette I would put in Michelle Pfiefer (sp?) in it... but then she's too old now. Anybody but Halle Berry... better off as Storm. Why bother?

Sorry to add too much testosterone, here, but Halle Berry in a catsuit is fine by me!

I just got back from seeing it.

It was better than I expected. Not having read the comics, I had no expectancies, and received an honest summer action movie entertainment with a bit of story.

Many months ago, I was very happy to learn that Halle Berry would be playing Catwoman. Then with every new development, I became increasingly upset. I wanted to see the REAL Catwoman, not this new character. And as much as I do like Halle and find her quite attractive, the costume makes me want to vomit, especially the stupid helmet that triples the size of her head...
