Hi Cocaspud,

the combat magic shows the magic effects but doesn't change the attribute of the characters or the monsters.
I've tried the heal and burning hands spell.

Thanks for your great work.

Are you using the default Burning Hands spell that DC has? That one should reduce hitpoints.

Hello Cocaspud.
I have tried all default spells and no spell affects me or the enemy.
I can see the spell Icons on the target, but thats all that is happening, perhaps i must install dungeoncraft again ???
I have also some own spells, the only target mode which is working for me is touched target and even then they are not affecting any character status.
Thanks for your reply.

When you choose a targeting type besides Touched, are you entering something in the other edit fields too? For instance, the Select By Count option requires two additional values, Numer (of targets selectable) and Range (max between caster and target). If left at zero then nothing will happen.

I might be able to get an idea of what's happening from the error log. Play through your design and cast one or two of the default spells. Try Burning Hands, it's the one I did the most testing with. After the spell is cast, exit the engine and email me the UAFErr_Eng.txt file. It should be located in the folder \UAF\UAFWin.

Is anyone noticing that casting the default spells have no effect on the target?
