I know for me, I always wanted a REALLY good Icon for the program, and I decided to spend a few minutes to make some!

Here are 2 of them:

Once you click on the link, to save it to your PC, right click over the Icon, and choose "Save picture as" and save it to whatever dir you wish.

More stuff coming, and the next Artpack is on the way, with new Monsters, Walls and some suprises!

Hello

Iam the creator of
http://daimonin.sourceforge.net

Its a open source mmorpg project and its
alive since oct/2003 now.

Its a split from the crossfire project and like
Dungeon Craft near the (A)D&D core.

Daimonin has atm a 2d isometric view. I have collected
alot items & background stuff from various sources.
Alot artists from the net has given permission to us to
use their artwork. For example David Gervais ( http://pousse.rapiere.free.fr/tome/index.htm ),
M. Itakura (nethack tiles:
http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconVa...06/nh/eng.html ),
Iso Angband project and alot more people.
And of course manikus - what i just remember inclusive i forgot
over x-mas to answer his answer to my request ... Sorry, the new
beta 2 eats up all my time. When i hopefully release the beta 2
next week i will focus back to the artist part.

Daimonin is really short in monster pictures and i really would
use some of the ironworks dungeon craft monsters. I had included the
beholder and the worm to see they fit and they really looks great.
I added a minor animation (moving the eyes and a tentacle) and they
really come alive - great to see. I tried 2 month ago to contact the
artist but i got no response.

I (and all daimonin user) would be really proud to use this great art.
Of course will we respect all copyrights and the art of daimonin comes
with artist licence which give the original artist all rights even
its added to daimonin project. And of course it will be a "give back" -
daimonin art is open to the projects who give to them too.

If you have questions feel free to mail to daimonin@nord-com.net.

Thx
Michael Toennies

hi mt!
i'm a big fan of daimonin. i'm a big fan of dungeon craft. i've converted a couple of icons of mine to work in daimonin and liked the result.

the best part is that very piece of art has the authors name and where it came from, and it certainly can't hurt to introduce dungeon craft to a whole new, international group of gamers.

Ziroc,

Do you mind if I use those icons for the editor/engine executables?

The icons I'm using now came from a book I bought and I'd rather use original icons.
