Is good old snide Myles necessary to keep in the party? I've found Vi Domina after I got that quest from Myles... he then said something about sticking around. Do I need him? Can I dismiss him? If I dismiss him can I find him again??

Far as I can tell, keeping the NPC's or even accepting them at all is up to you...8 people in the party helps in some ways...but thats just more ways to slice the experience point pie.

Myles is pretty hopeless. He leaves the party if you try to go to Bayjin, to the Mines, to the Southeast Area, to Marten's Bluff, and to Mt. Gigas...meaning, he's really useful only for Arnika, Trynton, the Swamp, and the areas in between.
Ditch him for a better NPC. Madras is really cool, especially if you don't have a Gadgeteer in your party and want to try some of the gadgets out. Cheers, -Sazerac |
