Is there any way to use Brage's sword without going beserk? If there is, I haven't found it yet. Any help would be great.

NO, there isn't. It is cursed forever. You could use it on a suicide mission though: give it to a warrior you don't like, move him away from everybody else towards the monsters and as soon as enemies are sighted by that warrior, equip him with the sword....
Too bad Jaheira can't use it....

PS: in Durlag's Tower, the King in the chess room has a two-handed sword +3, non-cursed.

you can use the blade if you have a cleric with a lot of remove curse spells. When the battle is over have your cleric cast remove curse on the character using the blade and it will stop the battle but watch out if you run out of spells and find a random battle. There is away around anything if you have enough imagination. If you run out of remove curse spells and find another battle cast a hold person spell on your character that will hold them from doing any damage to your party until the beserk rage wears off (which it does eventually) but you have to keep the rest of the party from attacking the help member.
good luck it's a lot of extra work and as far as I'm concerned not worth it.

We also have a "Hakisha" in our group (though spelled slightly different)--how we both thought of the same name is beyond me! I guess the name just beckoned to be used (?). Ciao!
