Gnisis eggmine (spoilers given/needed)

I joined the Imperial Legion (man what a mistake! Who knew I'd have to be lugging around a substandard cuirass masquerading as a 'uniform' for the privilege! [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img]

), and my first task is to get a land deed from a widow. Now she says she won't give up her land because her husband was killed by the legion and she wants me to go recon in the mine. Now when I try to go the lower level a legionary tells me I have to leave and he attacks me when I don't. What should I do? If I kill him will anyone know? Like, could I kill him, investigate the mine and find out the truth and when I report back to Darius he doesn't know I knocked off one of his men?

I don't want any major plot spoilers but just a, yeah the legion's in the wrong, or no the widow's a lying trollop, heads up would be great

To get into the mine you must be in 'uniform'.

I forget how to solve this mission. Try talking to the Orc legionarie that threatens you. If that doesn`t work go to the room behind him and ignore him. Just be quick about it and he won`t attack you.

Yeah, I got in the mine okay, got the key and all, but even wearing my sucky uniform the orc on the lower level wouldn't let me past.

He won't talk to me, just says 'you better leave or you'll be in trouble' and I can only say goodbye. And I did try running off but he followed.

run past the orc get to the door and search aorund in the caves until you find a ghost, DONT KILL IT! talk to it take the axe or sword he gives you back to the man who gave you the mission, then go back and kill the orc, problem solved.

You can get into the mine from a back entrance. get in the river south of gnisis, then go east until the river turns north: below the water, on the northern shore of the river elbow there is a secret entrance to the mine. Take a deep breath, then get in. You will find yourself in a subterranean river which flows through the mine. Note that there is also a skeleton somewhere along the river, with a skill book.

I am in the same situation as Aelia, but between talking to widow and bringing the axe I solved the Talos quest. Now, I cannot report the finding of the axe because the commandant asks me for proof. When I click "Proof", the game thinks it is the proof for Talos quest. I cannot finish the quest.
