What is it about faeries and feet? Unless your faerie is both a ninja and finds Tabi shoes, they are shoeless. OK, maybe the spiked ones can be worn by some classes. A faerie with spiked boots? Starting to bring on one of the kinkier images. Maybe snakeskin works, haven't tried that yet, but seems at least somewhat fashionable. My mage doesn't have a shoe. Another thing, she dropped 7 AC when she removed the Fey ring to take a dip! I'm surprised she survives at all. But she does, amazingly so. The liz samurai and felpurr rogue have bought it at least once but she never has (in the battles worth letting it happen). Fated faeries force a fickle factor.

Fairies only have access to Tabi boots or Ariels slippers. But it's not that bad, since most monsters hit only 5-10% at your feet (ants with 30% obviously being worse, flying snakes are better.)

Everyone can use the spiked boots (since you need to wear them to complete the game). I think the rubber boots can also be worn by everyone.

It's possible to do it without the spiked boots, but it isn't easy.
