upper monastary

There is a room in the monastary where you can touch a statue and it opens a hole in the floor. The sign on the wall says something like through death is a way to new life. How do you open the wall to get the hidden item in that room.

ok, the trick here is to click the skull that it is holding. Then, it opens up a secret container with resurecttion powder. Its one of the greater riddles in the game. Get it, click the skull (death) and it opens a new way through life (ressurection powder). For the vault, I think you'll find a key, or maybe that is what it opens, don't remember that to well.

Also, if you click on the skull from behind the statue, you won't fall through the floor

Also, if you touch ONLY the skull, the floor doesn't get a hole at all.

You get the key to the safe in that secret compartment, the safe is what contains the resurrection powder [img]smile.gif[/img] The safe is in the room where you find the meat cleaver on a bloody block.
