I've recently got my hands on these two games. They are just a bit BRUTAL AS HELL!!! I'm sure you know all about the brutality in the Hitman series, so I'm going to describe a moment from Manhunt. You're walking down this alley with a crowbar in your hands as you spot a guy some distance away from you. You move to the shadows and sneak towards to him. You throw a brick in the opposite direction to distract him. As he turns towards the sound you sneak up from behind him and press the Action Button and hold it for three seconds. A cinematic starts where you first jab the crowbar in the man's spine, lifting him from the ground for an inch or two. As he falls down you turn him to face you. He mumbles something and you thrust the crowbar right between the eyes. He starts twitching, blood starts spraying. You try to jack the crowbar free but it won't go out so you put your foot on his shoulder and pull the crowbar free. He stops twitching. You move on to prey on someone else.

The games are gory and all that, but they're also fun. Have you tried these? If not, and you're not adverse to a big chunk of violence you should try this.

they are great I agree, I mean you need a bit of violence in most games, and if you think about it the likes of bg even are just as bad, the are just the olden day versions!

These two games are based on violent lead characters, the developers must make it as realistic as possible or people will start to criticize the game for being too "naive".

Anyway, if you find these games too violent for your taste, you might want to give Splinter Cell a try. It is more focused on stealth and killing your enemies quietly (minimal gore). some of the missions even have strict "no fatality" as the objective, though you still can use gadgets and fists to knock you opponents out cold.

Splinter Cell sounds good. But do these games require an extremely high end computer to run?

Actually Splinter Cell would run on moderate machine, something like:

Pentium 4 1.5/1.8 GHz
256 MB RAM or more
GeForce 2MX or better

But Splinter Cell: Pendora Tomorrow (the sequel to Splinter Cell) does requires higher PC specifications. Guess I will have to upgrade my PC first before getting it.
