I need some help. My characters are swishing/missing constantly. The only one who seems to hit on a regular basis is my Ranger, and while his damage is stinky at best, he DOES connect. I have 3 fighters, maxed Str and Vit but have neglected senses. Is this my problem? Working up Dexterity on them currently.

You also need to work on their weapon skills, such as close combat (for melee) and sword (if they use swords). Everything has a function in this game, and you can't neglect skills.

Don't forget Dex also. Str is for actual penetration of armor while Dex is for actually connecting with your opponent when dealing with Melee.

yah, DEX. Sen is mostly valuable for ranged combat. Skill and Dex make you hit more mostly. And level. Str helps some, but it's more for penetration and damage. Vit is mostly for more HP and stamina.

Right click on the desired skills to see what they are built on... I think that Critical Hit is Strength, dex, and senses (of course if you miss critical hit won't matter...).
Try the Right-click on those skills - also right-click on enemies you want to know about to see various resistances (eg; if immune to sleep, don't waste your effort, try something with lower resistance).
