I have never bothered doing this quest before in my many games of BG1 but now In this back to the classic play of Bg1 i have decided to and after exploring the whole map of Ulcaster above ground killing numerous of those little bastard kobold commandos and hobgoblin elites I have only found the one entrance to the dungeon. Now in the dungeon I have explored all that I can but I can see that I can go further though lighting behind walls. I havent found the books for ulcaster yet so it means I have to explore the rest
so is there a secret door bcos i have had imoen walk around with find traps on and she cant find any doors. So wat do I do? Someone please help urgently as i have the game minimised

Azurewolf, the book you need to find is in one of the treasure heaps in the dungeon. It is just an ordinary book (like History of the North, History of the Dead Three), not a quest-specific one. Good luck!

I think he already found the passage, we´ve been talking in MSN.

These dungeons are full of shadows, so you´ve gotta look carefully every corner.

Oh it took me AGES to find my way around all those dark corners.
Very frustrating when you can't see the corridor! There is a particularly invisible passageway in this area, I think to the west of the entrance, but it is a long time since I did that bit (although I'm having fun with BG1 again at the mo, but haven't got that far yet.)

Turn the brightness up, it usually helps, its just off the Spider room !

I had this problem too. Move your character into the very corners. You'll start to see the corridor when you get close. The book is in a pile of bodies

Spoiler.........

Go to the room all the way over on your screens left and look in the southwest corner of the room. That passage is hard to find.
