What exactly are Boo's powers? I mean, he is a giant space hamster. What do you think his special powers are?

You can actually find out by cheating him into the game (CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("BOO"); ) and CTRL-Q'ing him into your party.

He has some kind of effect on Minsc, but exactly what it is, I honestly wouldn't know. I think it's more a psychological effect he has, rather than anything concrete.

I know where Boo originated from. When the developers were creating the NPC's in the game they decided to base them on there own D&D Characters one of these was a thief called minsc who used to set off traps in dungeons by releasing hamsters everywhere and letting them set off the traps. But one day after a nasty knock on the Head he grew emotionally attached to one of his hamsters and thus was born Minsc amd Boo.
An interesting fact, I will try and find the site that I found this information from as it has a list of where most of the characters originated from. |

quote: Well, I for one, would be very interesting in reading that. I've been wondering where the designers based the characters on since BG1. So if you find the site lemme know, that would be great
