Deadlock between a Modding Mage and noble warriors

After having insulted the paladins of Keldorn's Order and making a narrow and cowardly escape, Larry, the modding mage of the OHF, has been challenged to a battle.

Members of Keldorn's Order and their allies, the GOTH, Ranger-Protectors and the BOTS have gathered for a fight against the OHF in general and Larry in particular.

Both the force of post and that of the evil yet amusing magic known as editing will be wielded here, but please remember the following:

There's a difference between OOC posts and IC posts. Attacking the character Larry, editing the character Byronas' post, and similar things are allowed. Attacking Larry or anyone else in real life for that matter is not. No flaming.

And, of course, not too much spam either

The battlefield lies several miles from the nearest form of civilization, a huge opening in the forest, almost a plains in itself. In the center of the field lies a great pond filled with water, darkened by the mud. Dozens of brave warriors have gathered to fight Larry, the cowardly moderator. As the sun crests the treetops, Sir Byronas shouts the order for the attack.

~A note to anyone of higher power than myself...Before assuming anything, this all started as a game, and I never really insulted anyone in real life, nor did I do anything against my code of Moderator-ship. This has been created to have fun and releive stress, and I am not actually a mean, insulting person. Outside of this game...I will continue my normal expectancies, though since this is a role-playing forum...I try to stay in some sort of character as much as possible.
If any other Moderator wants to jump in and have fun...it's never been a better time than now!

Larry watches the troops gathering in the field. Being invisible, and standing on the water's surface of the lake, he is quite enthused by the determination of this band of crazy drunkards. He sees Galadria in the midst of everyone, and silently reminds himself to try some ice-based magic on her later.
In the lead of this group, standing proudly, is Legolas.
Larry thinks to himself how utterly ridiculous all of these attack plans are. These poor mortals think to taste the might of a moderator will be an easy task! Ha! What they are really banking on is whether or not Larry has enough imagination and control to beat them at this game. IN the end...it will all depend on creativity. Larry begins to study for his attack. He is also trying to remember who has loyalties with him. Hmm...Would he be able to convince others to fight this band of sillies???

A slight cough from behind him alerted Larry to the presence of Neb the psionic who was standing on the surface of the water just a few feet behind him, "I would love to help you toast these righteous b*astards, but I won't have time till tomorrow, I shall join you then, provided there are still any of them left." Neb teleports away.

Lady Galadria, unable to see the invisible Larry, asks her husband Attalus to order his love-slave, Viconia, to cast Purge Invisibility.
She is unaware that Larry allowed this to happen... Larry springs into view immediately as the dusky magic-worker casts her spell. Lady Galadria and Attalus pick up their cross bows and start firing, Attalus shooting ordinary bootsthat being an old Kalimshan word for crossbow bolts., Galadria Bolts Of flowers"Flowers" being her secret pet name for lightning. Viconia casts Heal Alas, her spellcasting fails, and the spell turns to Bolt of Glory and it strikes both the mage and his small, scuttling companion. Alerted by telepathy, Lady Galadria hopes the ice-based magic has Scotch in it. Both Lady Galadria and Attalus are Protected from Magic. Viconia tries to activate the Rod of Absorbtion.Fortunately, she succeeds.

Heeding the call to arms, Dresdan enters the field to battle the Evil Mod Mage. He searches for his clan leaders among those already gathered around a large oak, singing in unison "I love you, you love me" and waiting to receive his orders.

Attalus from Lady Galadria's computer:

"Attalus goes into whirlwind attack, increasing his dizziness that he had from drinking too much the night before...However, it still increases his rate of attack
He requests that Viconia, who is his love-slave, to conjure an aerial servant.
A hit! His bolt actually hit a tree in the opposite direction from Larry! But it makes a limb fall off and hit Larry in the head.

Larry almost lost his ability to stand on water as he was laughing too hard to concentrate. These people had never read the Avatar Trilogy, nor did he expect them to understand what wild magic's capabilities were! They probably even tried fighting magic golems with +5 weapons!
Finally composing himself to mere snickers...Larry decides to cast Gate, thus opening a portal right behind Viconia. Larry didn't care much for that love slave...and the guy should learn to be more loving to his wife anyway. When the gate appears, Larry instructed the Pit-fiend to only attack the drow.

Viconia casts protection from evil, and disappears with a potion of invisibility. Attalus informs Larry that he loves his wife very much, but he needs a secretary to help with his correspondence.

Larry trying to figure out how that tree branch got him, finally gives up trying to understand it. He saw that Viconia was protected from his pit-fiend and now invisible. He wondered how good these people could fight in the mud. Raising his arms high in the air, The pond that he was standing on top of lifted and poured across the plain, making it incredibly soggy all around the battle field. Larry stood just above the ground, where the pond used to be.

Lady Galadria informs Larry that he is a gentleman and a scholar, for a handsome, charming evil mage. They continue firing crossbow bolts near the mage, but never hitting,since the mud only reached their wastes. Viconia, since she seems to irritate the wizard, is sent home by Attalus and told to edit his dispatches.
