Missing Rubble

Blundering about with the Umpani, there was a battle, a Private got poisoned and died, now his name has cropped up on my list of Topics. Been sent for extra training but Rubble is missing. I have actually started a new game, but if I decide to go back to the old one, have I done something wrong?

hmmm...just asking, did you download the latest patch? the latest patch seems to create a lot of problem in umpani base camp. especially with rubble.

No I have not downloaded any patches. I was wondering whether Rubble could have been killed off in the battle. Do you recommend waiting until the next patch is out rather than the current one?

Did you look for Rubble at the firing range, covert ops, or the underwater unit? Those are the places that he hangs out after you've completed some training.

Another possibility: If you accepted the minor quest where you put on the scuba gear, you need to talk to Rubble before diving. End of the training quest. If you dive in without talking to him again, he leaves and you always have the quest on the scroll. This happened to me. You may be talking about earlier problems finding Rubble, if so ignore this.
