It's about bargaining in the shops:

The higher is the disposition of the shopkeeper towards you, the lower prices you get. And that's OK.

But, the higher the disposition, the less will the shopkeeper pay any object you sell (I checked personally). Shouldn't it be the opposite? This means I must lower the disposition to sell and then raise it again to buy...

Also, it seems that high mercantilism skill amplifies the effect: you can buy lower (skill 100 -> one tenth of the original price) but must also sell lower (one tenth as well)

that's is strange. I remember in gamefaqs people have discussed this but it seems the problem is still there.

However, why buy when you can steal. and why sell when you have the creeper.

I buy only health potions and arrows and reapair hammers, and those you cannot steal, otherwise they don't respawn.

I sell many things, but usually i get to the creeper only when I have a good loot - and besides he doesn't buy unenchanted rings, misc items and ingredients, which can be really valuable.

The annoying thing is, my reputation and personality and speechcraft skills are so high that even my enemies have a 75 disposition towards me, nevermind shopkeepers. Isn't there a fix out there?

your reputation, speechcraft and personality is global variable, which mean it will effect every npc out there. if you look carefully into your editor, you'll notice that enemies are npc. so yes, maybe they should fix this.

btw, you need a mod to make the creeper buy all things and have more money.

Surely you don't need the extra money when selling those mundane items. I haven't had the game for long and i've only concentrated on the main story quest and i've already got more money than i know what to do with. As a general rule, if i can't use it or it's under 5000 septims, i don't pick it up.

From a roleplaying perspective though, I understand how this bug can be annoying.

Yes it's very annoying since my char is a compulsive looter - he convinced himself that steel armor is bulky and not really valuable only lately - he can't resist taking ebony daedric silver glass dwemer bonemold orcish and you name it items.

Also I have downloaded an interesting mod ("private mobile base"), a mobile floating base which can be move to and float above all the mages guild. Too bad the expense for the complete thing exceeds 700'000 septims - I need money!

maybe that happens because your character likes the merchant and they develop a mutual understanding of prices. So i say kill the idiot and look for someone else!

The private mobile base is nice, but WAAAAAAY expensive. I tried it, finally got all the mods, and gave it up. It fundamentally is only movable to three or four towns. For that kind of money, I want to be able to move it all over Vvardenfell!

there should be a mod where a creeper appears right before you when you get a good item!
