It has been some time since I played an RPG. Icewind Dale and its add-ons was the last time I played anything of the D&D world which is some time ago. When I played IWD I created two characters that at first I thought of as just support for my party of 6. Eventually, however, they became my two favortite characters out of the whole crew: a Gnome Cleric/Illusionist and an Elven Fighter/Magic-User. I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me how these races along with these multi-class combinations work in BG2. I have from my BG1 days my half-elven Ranger in the old Last Save folder. The problem is that I don't know how to transport this character to BG2. Anyway, I may want to try the combinations I just mentioned. Any suggestions or insight will be most appreciated. Thanks.

Well the Multi-Class are pretty well the same as in IWD so if you understand them then u should be able to understand the BG2 ones
