Lion heart question re Hujark shamans

What the best offensive method to deal with these creatures ?

I'm in the Nostradamus Caverns now, and a pair of em was blocking my way to the next cave. I lured one of en away, because fighting two Shamans at the same time will surely lead to a quick death. How many hitpoints do these creatures have for god's sake ? I had to run, regain my health, and attack him again for at least a dozen times. One of em is dead now, and i'm working the other one. They keep casting electricity spells in a very rapid tempo, draining my health in only a matter of seconds, while i barely hit him.

So what's the best way to deal with those things ?

I may be off topic but how is Lion Heart? I've heard it was very buggy.

Haven't encountered any bugs yet, and i think i'm halfway through the game. All the crappy reviews this game got are not really fair if you ask me. To each his own of course, but i for one am enjoying this game very much. It's quite addictive.

Do you have one of those lightning spell? the one that can paralyse the enemy while you hack them without fear.

Or have you some healing spell. just hack them and heal at the same time.

Yeah, i have a heal spell, but i can only heal 7 hitpoints max, while he does electrical damage 26, and stuns me at the same time. There's no way i can keep up with that with my petty healing abilities. The solution might be a LOT of "extra healing" potions, but those appear to be very scarce in the game, and when you are lucky enough to bump into a merchant, he only has two or three of em for sale.

You could always buy gun powder barrels from weng Choi in barcelona. it can blast away monsters real quick though I prefer to use them as a last resort.

How does one trigger those kind of sales ? I happen to stand in front of his shop right now. I chickened out of the caves, i can't beat the final battle without some healthpotions. Apparently i overlooked some areas in the cave as well, and i gathered enough XP in them to go up one more level.

Besides, i was overencumbered all the time. I had more than 525 lbs in my inventory, while 375 is my max. I couldn't move as fast as usual, but i didn't want to give up the goodies either.

I made it back to Montaillou and sold my stuff, and bought myself some nice boots of regeneration/speed, perhaps this is just what i needed. Then i went back to Barcelona, looking for potions. Is there any merchant in Barcelona who has more than two or three potions in stock ? I'm getting tired of running around searching for potions, and only come up with two at a time.

I'm sure this is WAY too late, as you've played it through now, but to get Weng Choi to offer the gun powder, you ask if he has anything 'special' and he mentions it. He wants books or something before you can become a favored customer and buy it though.

I just played a little bit after loading the game. Will probably go play Divine Divinity through now, but had to test Lionheart!
